Aims and objectives
The “L-Pack: Citizenship Language Pack for Migrants in Europe” project focuses on the development of “a pack” of colloquial language learning exercises (L-PACK) for adult migrants in 6 European languages. Three of these six languages are from the countries that attract the highest number of migrants, that is, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The remaining three languages are less widely used and taught. These are Greek, Czech, and Lithuanian. The project content will be specifically developed to cover the needs of adult migrants that have only a basic knowledge of the national language of their new country, and wish to further develop their language skills to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
